About me
Welcome to my website, where you will discover my creative world
Hi, my name is Ryo and I am an Artist, Photographer, Film Editor and Director.
I am based in Paris.
I have chosen to present my four artistic skills on this platform because they are all associated. I take a photo like I paint a painting. And I film a movie like I paint a painting. I tell a story based on something within.
A few things that I am great at
“Anything you put out there, says something. If you have the strength to be honest with yourself and make something truthful in regards to how you feel, I think that is what makes an artist.”
Photographer
When I take a photo it is just like painting, colour is important, and even if black and white means no colour, it still means contrast and light.

Artist
I want my art to be seen and I love seeing people interpretate my art, as it is one of my favorite things ever. I make a painting and when people say ‘I think that means this’ or they interpretate the colours. I like touching people in that way because it makes me feel useful and alive.
Film Editor & Director
I am a professional video editor ; from post production on films to short clips, music videos, promotions, and commercials, I have spent countless hours producing high-quality videos.

My Edits & Films
“It may seem strange to say, but it really is the same goal each time. Expressing things that I can’t express with words and expressing them through art, is like translating into a language that everyone can understand.”
My Paintings
“I think that there is a satisfaction in being able to create something beautiful out of something awful and dark. I wouldn’t call my paintings ugly, I would say that they are hard to observe.”
