Everything I make is a love letter to the art form I choose…Art is a translation for the world.”

Can you tell us about your filming and editing?

It may seem strange to say, but it really is the same goal every time. Expressing things that I can’t express with words, is like translating them into a language that everyone can understand. I have always edited things out of love for music and rhythm. Everything I make is a love letter to the art form I choose and I think that is important. I am just grateful for everything that I am able to do. I feel very lucky to be in all those artistic domains, those styles of art. It means so much to me. I’m so grateful for what it helps me to deal with. Art is a translation for the world.

I feel the need to be seen and provoke something in people’s minds, because it is like sharing the unshareable, deep emotions and truth. It is very gratifying to be able to pass through someone’s life, leave a trace or a thought or something that makes them think for themselves about the world.

What do you think about the world?

Everything that affects me, affects my work and the world affects me. It can be lonely out there and it doesn’t have to be.

So apart from hoping to participate in some exhibitions, what other projects do you have lined up with regards to your other artistic activities?

I hope to make a movie quite soon, as I have met so many wonderful people recently in cinema school. Another thing that I love, is making art with other people. There is this big thing ‘unity’, so beautiful and so exploitable in a good way. I just want to make art with people.
